Advancing ideas for impact

The Zayed Education Foundation is developing a new generation of leaders who will build a shared future shaped by courage and compassion to deliver lasting social impact in our region, and beyond. Investment in research and innovation is key to this mission.

In a bid to attract world-leading researchers to the UAE, the Foundation will establish research chairs to carry out transformative research projects in high priority sectors at national universities.

Through a specialist fellows’ program, the Foundation will also support graduate and post-graduate researchers whose work addresses the critical challenges that face the UAE, the Arab region, and the world.

In parallel, we plan to provide grants to researchers, innovators and SMEs working on long-term research, product development, and IP creation. In addition to funding, this program will also offer ecosystem support including market access, relocation assistance, and strategic partnerships.
